Training of Medical Licentiates in Zambia

 

A project that helps save lifes: In a partnership with SolidarMed, the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) supports the urgently needed expansion of medical (basic) care in the rural areas of Zambia, a landlocked country in southern Africa. One focus is on the training of so-called Medical Licentiates who, after their education, can manage a rural health centre and also perform life-saving operations there.
