Successfull opening of the exhibition "Agroecology"

In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Sabine Monauni, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Donat Marxer and numerous interested guests, the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) had the honour of opening the exhibition “Agroecology – For a Sustainable Agriculture of Tomorrow” last Thursday.

The exhibition illustrates what agroecology means in practice: protecting soils, securing food supplies and strengthening people. It deliberately builds a bridge between Senegal and Liechtenstein. Striking photographs by Raphael Belmin from West Africa meet insights into local agriculture. The focus is on nature-based farming methods, diversity instead of monocultures, knowledge passed down through generations, and new approaches that connect climate and food systems.

The exhibition runs until 22 March 2026 and is accompanied by a film screening, a discussion event and a closing reception. Anyone interested in how agriculture can be shaped in a sustainable way should not miss these insights
